Our Vision

Immigration is one of the most pressing issues in the United States today.

The Comité de 100 believes in a balanced approach that addresses border security while respecting the dignity and contributions of immigrants.

We believe:

  • Orderly and Secure Borders are essential to national stability.
  • Respect for Immigration Laws is vital for trust in the system.
  • Long-term, bipartisan solutions benefit both the economy and society.
  • Mass deportations harm families, disrupt industries, and create economic instability.

Our Goals

The Comité de 100 prioritizes protections for these groups as part of comprehensive immigration reform:

Dreamers

Dreamers are immigrant youth brought to the U.S. as minors and educated here, including the 600,000 currently protected under DACA. Many of these young people now contribute to society as nurses, teachers, police officers, and more.

Mixed-Status Marriages

Mixed-status marriages affect over 1.2 million U.S. citizens married to undocumented spouses who have no pathway to legal residency, a deeply unfair "penalty for love" we aim to end.

Essential Workers

Essential workers, many of whom have lived and worked in the U.S. for over a decade, sustain critical industries such as construction, hospitality, agriculture, and homecare. Their deportation would cause economic chaos and drive up consumer prices.

Our Actions

Public Education

We provide data and real-world insights about:

  • Contributions of undocumented immigrants to key industries.
  • The economic and social impacts of mass deportations.
  • Viable alternatives to the current system.

Advocacy

We engage with federal officials and policymakers to:

  • Protect Dreamers, mixed-status families, and essential workers.
  • Promote bipartisan, sustainable immigration reforms.
