Massey Villarreal

Massey Villarreal is CEO and President of Precision Task Group, Inc., (PTG). PTG is a Hispanic-owned and managed technical system’s integration firm providing business solutions to public and private sector firms. Hispanic Business Magazine named Massey Villarreal as one of the one hundred most influential Hispanics in the United States. Newsmax Magazine has named Massey, one of the one hundred most influential Hispanic Republicans in the country.

Mr. Villarreal was the first person to ever serve as chairman of a local, state, and national Hispanic chamber when he served as chairman of the Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (chairman emeritus), the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce (TAMACC) based in Austin Texas, and the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) headquartered in Washington, D.C. Massey serves Chairman of the Texas Association of Business (TAB) Foundation and Chair of the Finance Committee for the TAB.

Mr. Villarreal serves on the Board of the Greater Houston Partnership. Current boards include National Council member American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) National Council, and the Memorial Hermann Hospital System Board. Recently Massey was reelected Chairman of the Houston Golf Association (HGA).

On January 19th 2016, Texas Governor Greg Abbott named Massey Villarreal to the Economic Incentive Oversight Board for a term to expire at the pleasure of the Governor. Additionally, Massey was named the Presiding Officer of the aforementioned committee. The Board will review the effectiveness and efficiency of state incentive programs and funds administered by the offices of the Governor, the Comptroller and the Department of Agriculture. The Board will make recommendations to the Legislature on each program.

Texas Governor Rick Perry re-appointed Massey to the Texas Economic Development Corporation. Massey served for one year in a vacated position on the Texas Public Finance Authority until December 2009. The authority issues and sells bonds for designated state agencies in order to finance the acquisition or construction of buildings. Prior to this recent appointment, Governor Perry appointed Mr. Villarreal as presiding officer (Chairman) of the governing board of the Texas Department of Economic Development (TxEd). Mr. Villarreal led a successful transition of the agency to the Governor’s office, effective September 1, 2003.

In September 2001, Mr. Villarreal completed a six-year appointment by former George W. Bush to the Board of Regents of the Texas State University System, which is composed of nine university components throughout Texas. Student enrollment for the system exceeds 56,000 and an annual operating budget of half a billion dollars.

Mr. Villarreal is a native of Corpus Christi, Texas and resides in Sugar Land, Texas. Mr. Villarreal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Texas A&M – Corpus Christi, formerly Corpus Christi State University.

Sam Sanchez

In the mid-eighties, Sam Sanchez moved from his hometown in Sabinas Hidalgo Mexico to start what is now an accomplished hospitality career in Chicago. He cut his teeth in restaurants at what would become his first location, John Barleycorn in Lincoln Park. Sanchez was given an opportunity by his uncle Frank Mendoza and he ran with it. Throughout the years Sanchez has continued to open restaurants throughout Chicago and he has even expanded into California. With an extensive background that goes from concept development to daily operations, his extensive knowledge of all things restaurant continues to drive success in his current businesses. In 2015 Sanchez was rewarded for all his hard work and was awarded Restaurateur of the Year from the Illinois Restaurant Association.

Sanchez is a principal partner who oversees all facets of restaurant management, including operations and business development for Moe’s Cantina, Old Crow Smokehouse, and Tree House with new concepts on the horizon.

In addition to his restaurants, Sanchez owns EMC Construction, a full-service construction company that handles renovations of existing properties and new construction. In June of 2020 Sanchez started SDS Blocker Manufacturing, a company that makes high-quality disposable face masks.

Sanchez is actively involved with the Chicago Alternative Policing Strategy, Excellence in Education, Chicago Hospitality Association, River North Business Association, Central Lakeview Merchants Association, Lakevie Special Service Area #17 , Lakeview East Chamber of Commerce, and the Illinois Restaurant Association. His volunteer work throughout the city has been extensive. From feeding seniors every year for Thanksgiving to annually charity picnics, Sanchez has never turned down an opportunity to give back to the community. Perhaps his most fulfilling volunteer work has been his greatest pleasure and that would be through his mentorship. Throughout the years Sanchez has spoken to thousands of kids and has been an inspiration particularly among the Lantin X community.

In 2015, Sanchez received the title of Corporate Secretary of the Illinois Restaurant Association. He most recently served as first Vice Chair and will be the newly elected Chairman of the Illinois Restaurant Association on February 25, 2021.

In 2014, Sanchez was recognized and honored by the House of Representatives of the Ninety-Eighth General Assembly of the State of Illinois for his accomplishments within the business community, and his devotion to the betterment of the neighborhoods in which he lives and works.

Sanchez has been married to his wife, Marga, for 33 years, and has three daughters: Samantha, Korina, and Camila. In his spare time, he enjoys entertaining at home, cooking for his family and friends, and horseback riding.

Rev. Samuel Rodriguez

Rev. Samuel Rodriguez is a societal architect, cultural reformer, and revivalist. He serves as Lead Pastor of New Season Church in Sacramento, California, and as President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference (NHCLC), representing tens of thousands of churches worldwide.

Recognized by CNN, FOX News, NBC, Univision, and Telemundo as America’s most influential Latino faith leader, Rev. Rodriguez has advised Presidents George W. Bush, Barack Obama, and Donald J. Trump. He is the first Hispanic American to participate in two U.S. presidential inaugurations.

A #1 best-selling author, his books — including Persevere with Power, Be Light, and Your Mess, God’s Miracle — have appeared on multiple national bestseller lists, with Persevere with Power selling over 100,000 copies. United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC)

Ramiro A. Cavazos

Ramiro A. Cavazos is President and Chief Executive Officer of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC), America’s largest business advocacy organization for Hispanics. He is a trusted economic development expert and champion for bipartisan solutions that generate wealth to advance economic opportunity for all Americans. Prior to his role at the USHCC, Ramiro was the President and Chief Executive Officer of the San Antonio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SAHCC), the nation’s first Hispanic Chamber of Commerce founded in 1929. During his tenure, he advocated for the passage of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), achieved recognition as a 5 Star accredited chamber, and successfully led trade missions to Spain, Mexico, Canada, Israel, China, Japan, Cuba and Italy.
Ramiro previously served as the Director of Research and Economic Development at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, driving public-private partnerships that accelerated entrepreneurship, innovation and technology advancements. He also provided leadership as the Director of Economic Development for the City of San Antonio overseeing projects that fueled a period of unprecedented business growth, retention and trade, resulting in the creation of higher-paying jobs in key industries for America’s 7th largest city. Additionally, Cavazos shared his expertise by teaching economic development at the University of Texas at San Antonio’s Institute of Law and Public Affairs.

Ramiro’s diverse experience has equipped him with a unique global perspective, fostering a deep understanding of the interconnected world we live in. Cavazos is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, was awarded the Royal Order of Isabella the Catholic, a knighthood bestowed by King Felipe VI to recognize his extraordinary service to the Kingdom of Spain and been recognized as one of the “101 Most Influential Latinos” in America for the 7th consecutive year. Ramiro is immediate past Chairman of the Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility, is Vice Chairman of the National Hispanic Leadership Agenda, and serves on the boards of LiftFund, along with the Symphony of the Americas. His opinion has been featured on Fortune, The Economist, Time, Newsweek, Forbes, Bloomberg, CNN, the Associated Press, El Heraldo, El Pais, BBC, Jerusalem News, The Washington Post and many other media.

Ramiro earned his Master’s Degree in Public Administration from St. Mary’s University, where he received the honor of Distinguished Alumnus and served as a member of the Board of Trustees. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Government from The University of Texas at Austin in three years. A native of Weslaco in the RIo Grande Valley, he is a 7th generation Texan. He and his wife Christa are the proud parents of two teenage boys.
