Following the Texas Primaries, Leaders Examine Anticipated Record Hispanic Turnout and Evaluate What It Could Mean for November
Dallas, TX – Following new research from ABIC Action and Comité de 100 featured in Politico and Washington Times on shifting Hispanic voter sentiment, business leaders and elected officials will gather in Dallas on March 5th to evaluate the impact of the March 3rd primary elections and what comes next for the Hispanic vote in 2026.
This in-person briefing, “Common Ground, Common Sense: A Post-Primary Briefing on Workforce Solutions,” will bring together Hispanic business and local elected leaders in a unified show of leadership. Speakers will address how immigration enforcement policies and workforce shortages are affecting Hispanic-owned businesses in construction, hospitality, and other key industries. The group will discuss solutions such as the Dream Act, the Dignity Act, and expanded work authorization for longtime, law-abiding immigrants as practical steps to strengthen the workforce and the economy.
The message is simple: the Hispanic vote is won with respect. Hispanic voters are watching closely to see which candidates respect their families, their businesses, their faith, and their economic concerns by supporting work permit protections for long-term immigrants and citizenship for Dreamers who have worked and paid taxes in Texas communities for years.
With anticipated record Hispanic turnout in the Texas primary, leaders say the direction of upcoming races may depend on how Hispanics vote. In Dallas and across North Texas, home to one of the fastest-growing Hispanic populations in the state, turnout and engagement will shape competitive congressional contests in the November Midterm Elections.
Hosted by Comité de 100, ABIC Action, the Regional Hispanic Contractors Association, and Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, the event will highlight the growing political and economic influence of Hispanic Texans and present a bipartisan example of unity focused on results.
